Man, Woman Charged After Victim Found Dead Inside Vehicle In Suffolk

A man and woman have both been charged with murder after a man was found dead in a vehicle on Long Island man last month.

Suffolk County Police announced the arrests on Thursday morning, Dec. 10.

Officers in Riverhead responded to a 911 call of an abandoned vehicle on the side of Roanoke Avenue, south of Green Tree Drive, at approximately 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, Nov.11.

The Riverhead Police Department officers then discovered the body of Marco Grisales, 39, of Sag Habor, in the vehicle, Suffolk County Police said.

Homicide Squad detectives responded to the scene and determined that Grisales suffered head injuries.

The two arrested are both from the same residence in Hampton Bays: Alcides Lopez-Cambara, 40, and Tyara Lemus, 18.

They two have been charged with second-degree murder.

They were held overnight at the Riverhead Police Department Jail and are scheduled to be arraigned at Southampton Justice Court on Thursday.
